A Trek to Chandrashila

First of all we witnessed sunrise at Sangam which in itself was mesmerizing and took blessings of Shri Rudranath Mahadev

Thereafter, we started our journey from Rudraprayag at 8 AM.
From there we took sharing cab to Ukhimath which you can easily get from Rudraprayag main market. The Cab took approx 1hr 30 mins for a 45KM ride and charged Rs. 250 per head. You can also get private busses to Ukhimath which are available from time to time and costs cheaper.

We Reached Ukhimath at 10AM. Then we took sharing cab for Chopta which took 1 hr and 300Rs pp. You can reserve the cab for Rs. 1800 as there is less crowd and it takes approx half hr to get a cab full. Ukhimath is the last market where u can get required stuffs.

Lot of small waterfalls and mountainous roads...

Mobile network of Vodafone is available all over the route and rest mobile network also works near temple.
