Iternity

Delhi >> Dehradun >> Pantwari >> Dehradun >> Delhi

My journey starts from Delhi . I took Volvo from ISBT Kashmiri Gate for Dehradun and reached Dehradun around 4 O' Clock in the morning . By the coincidence I met some of the fellow trekkers in the Bus. I was thinking trek would be very amazing . For the Trek I already booked camp and guide from a good travel agency .

From Dehradun my travel company vehicles picked me up for Pantwari village. Its took around 3-4 hours. You can come Pantwari from Dehradun by own vehicle or rented vehicle . At Pantwari you can have breakfast and rest for few minutes .

Pantwari I met with my trekking guide Mr. Anup and he gave us small brief about the trek and we all started towards the base camp site .

The trek began with fun-frolic and with motivation of conquered .Team spirit was abundant.

As I began walking, I was very energetic and over confidence as I had some trekking experience .After few minutes walk on rocky trails all my calories has brunt . Looking back, I realize I let myself be overpowered by overconfidence. And that was lesson for me. Now I was following the instructor advice walk slowly and don't stop.

Base camp site is around 4 km far from starting point . The trails was bit rocky and steep too. As we were imagine not that easy to walk on this trails . On the way found some natural water sources. Also some village shops for Lemon water and maggie for refreshment .By the 4 PM we all group members reached Camp site . Camp site is very near The Goat Village . On the way there is lots of confusion of selection of the right trails.

After reaching there we all had nice refreshment with amazing view of Nag Tibaa and other Himalayan peaks . This is one of the few treks we have where you can see spellbinding sunset.

In night we had Bonfire and amazing starry night . You can easily see the milkyway from naked eyes . I was lucky to see some moving Satellites like stars and Meteorite (Toota hua Tara ) .

Day 2

Second day we had to trek towards Nag Tibba Summit around 3:30 O' Clock to see the Sunrise from the Summit. Out Trekking Guide woke us up around 3 O' clock . We started for summit around 4 O' Clock in starry night . I took my camera to capture some good shots of Sunrise and water bottle to keep myself hydrated . This trek was around 6 KM from one side. Some part of the trails was very steep. The trek is through the dense forest .

The climb was getting harder and my resolve to complete it was growing stronger. As I moving upside stared out of breath ,taking short breaks after every few minutes walk. The curiosity and excitement of reaching the summit was spreading like wildfire and I wasn’t immune to it.I was keeping in the mind that mustn’t give up, not even momentarily. Life is a journey that needs you to muster all the resolve you possibly can. There will be challenges ,you have to courageous and walk on. I continued to walk slowly. At the some moments I was walking alone .Most of the my fellows moved ahead of me . The excitement to reach before the Sunrise kept me motivated .

I was very close to the breathtaking view I had heard so much of.Before the sunrise we all reached Summit .The summit climbs is incredibly rewarding for me . The Patience is the another lesson for me .That helps me a lots to reach at the summit. It will protect you from rash decisions and lead you to your chosen path. Practice it, nurture it.

From here, you see a 100° degree view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges such as Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, Kedarkantha, and Gangotri. You also see Kedarnath peak in the north, Doon valley and the snow peaks of Changabang. With views like this and a climb to make you earn them, this view make this trek may be one of the best.

After resting at 9915 ft, the summit come down from another side, you also experience a variety of landscapes. This trek takes you through dense forests, clearings and ridge walk . You feel the positivity and feeling of conquered . Walk alone through the trail amid the forest is feeling of relaxation in the lap of nature , close to nature and far from negatives vibes. That I felt personally.
