Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar, has been transformed into a Wi-Fi zone in an attempt to boost tourism in the state.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) joined hands with Trimax to provide wi-fi hotspot service to the tourists.
Ramesh Kumar, BSNL Assistant General Manager, said, "the service which has been operationalised at the popular Har-Ki-Pairi ghat will help devotees share their experience related to the vast religious gathering with their near and dear ones through the internet."
The wi-fi hotspot service is free for 15 minutes for users. Thereafter, they will require to recharge their service online or buy coupons of Rs. 30 for 30 minutes, Rs. 50 for 60 minutes ,Rs .90 for 120 minutes and unlimited use for Rs. 150.
