Delhi to Kedarnath Nearly 6000-7000 (per person)
We are group of three friend and we started our journey from Delhi to Haridwar
Delhi to Haridwar via bus 700₹ per person
Duration 7 to 8 hour
After travelling from Delhi to Haridwar.We took bus from Haridwar to Sonprayag which is nearly 237km from Haridwar via a bus
Duration nearly 8 to 9 hours
Haridwar to Sonprayag via bus - 350₹ per person
After travelling of 8 hours we took rest in dormitory because hotels are dam too costly and charged nearly 5000₹-6000₹ per night
Dormitory cost is nearly 250₹ per night
In dormitory- one pillow one blanket and one matrices will be provided.And The gateway of Kedarnath yatra is Gaurikund. It is at 6 km distance from the nearest bus point and connected with sharing jeep cost Rs 20 per head. The trekking for Kedarnathji. There are so many hotels but they charge as they wish. Best accommodation is GMVN Lodge which can be booked 3 days advance online through their website.
There is Gaurimata temple which only survived during 2013. There is a taptkund which continuously supply hot water pilgrimage takes holy bath there
Next day the adventure begin
Gaurikund to Kedarnath there is a 16km trek
First we have to register ourself through a biometric which is open nearly 5am-5pm.The registration will be valid for next 7 days.We completes our journey with in 12 Gaurikund to Kedarnath
This route will start from Gaurikund to Kedarnath, a total trek of around 15-16 kms. This route has been recommended by NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering). As the route between Rambara and Kedarnath was completely swept away, pilgrims can reach Kedarnath via Gaurikund – 6 kms → Rambara Bridge – 4 kms → Jungle Chatti – 3 kms → Bheembali – 4 kms → Linchauli – 4 kms → Kedarnath Base Camp – 1 kms → Kedarnath Temple
