I took local bus service from rishikesh to sonprayag(it's the last road head connectivity upto where you'll get a bus services but they use hoarding of travelling upto Gaurikund(hoax) although it's only 5km from sonprayag to gaurikund.
I reached Sonprayag at around 6pm but i took hotel at sitapur it is just 2km before sonprayag because hotels were too expensive at sonprayag
From sitapur-sonprayag it's 2km then from sonprayag-gaurikund it's 5km (there is Jeep taxi services running on this road) completely under police management so no private vehicles allowed after sonprayag and then after gaurikund it's a trek of 16km to kedarnath temple
Services like:Pony for ₹2300 all the way upto temple and return it's again ₹1500, pithu and Dolly(palkhi) also available from gaurikund
So on the 2nd day i started my trek from Sitapur only @7am so i trekked for 5hours that is 23km from sitapur to kedarnath temple @12pm i reached at temple i didn't took taxi or anything because i wanted so.
I have spended some time there around temple i inhaled the air in the nature it feels different there everything is full of positive energy i trekked back at 2pm i reached gaurikund @5pm and i reached back to sitapur around 6:30pm
I stayed they in ⛺ tent for that night cause i had a bus to take next day early morning
I took the bus to rishikesh i reached therw at 3:30pm then my trip to rishikesh started from that very day itself..i'll share my rishikesh trip soon cause that is my fav place but i usually stay there as local to live life with only 2things Maa ganga and yoga
