Mahasu devta the family deity of Jaunsar Bawar region of uttarakhand. Their villagers worshiping Lord Shiva in the name of Mahasu Devta.
Actually they were 4 brothers namely :- Pavasik Mahasu, Vasik Mahasu, Botha Mahasu and Chalda Mahasu.
The main temple of mahasu is situated in Hanol near by uttarkashi district. But we have 4 other temples also. They are situated in Thaina, Bisoi, lakhsiar, lakhwar.
I wanted to visit Bisoi mandir since 2020, but due to time Issues never had this opportunity. But this year in 2023 I finally decided to visit Bisoi with my brother. Bisoi is situated in Nagthat village, chakrata. It is 86 km from dehradun via vikasnagar-kalsi route. I with my brother went for this trip. I drived for 50km after that my brother decided to drive. It was a amazing experience by passing through narrow roads and different-different terrain. we also caught a different vibes there. But when we enter the Nagthat village the whole scenario was changed. It was so overwhelming. Our good fortune was that, that day, Mandir samiti conducted a bhandara their. We were so fortunate to saw this. Old people always said this " भगवान के घर जाने का बुलावा होता है ". It was exactly like this. We went there, and the door was still open only for us. After we take blessings pandit ji kept the door closed for next bhandara. We sat their, enjoying the moment. They have 3 goat in temple. They all are very calm in nature. And playing with each others.
After that we started our journey back to dehradun. Everything goes well. Suddenly in one spot I saw some beautiful flowers in mountain. I asked my brother wait for me I am going to pluck these flowers. He said OK. I took those flowers, when I was plucking those flowers. I felt something different. Some kind of different vibes I guess. I took these flowers with me. On the second turn, we faced a minor accident with a red coloured Aulto Car. The driver was very smart. He tried his best and safely turned his car towards the mountain, we were in neutral so didn't harm more. But during this whole incident my right leg pressed by the car back door. And instantly starts swell as well. The flowers I plucked they dropped at the exact location. Everyone come to ask me, Is i am alright or not.
In a few second A group of boys( they all are humble) stopped their car and come to ask me what happened, is everything is alright or not. I was more curious to know is my brother is alright or not. Thank fully, Everyone was good. No one was harmed by the accident except Me. We stared our scooty come back to dehradun and first went to visit our society Mahadev's temple. Just to say 'Thank you'.
It was a memorable trip(😅😅)
