The lake is renowned for a Ganesh temple that is located at its one end, it is known to have been the birthplace of Lord Ganesh. It goes without saying that it's the perfect trek if you want to experience the magnificence of both the states. The trail is surrounded with thick forests, meadows, streams, waterfalls and ultimately awards you with a spectacular view of Kinner Kailash Range in Himachal.

The route for this trek will take you through high-altitude meadows and lakes like Dodital , Ruinsara Lake and Yamunotri Pass. Alongside, the trek also provides spectacular views of Swargarohini group of mountains.
