Well, If you are looking for a place free from urban nuisances within the city itself, this place would be the best choice.
Ananda Buddha Vihara is located around 11 kms from Nampally railway station and around 4kms from Secunderabad railway station. Since the place is very well within the city premises, getting there would not be an issue. One can choose either auto, motor cab or even public transport to reach here.
Since I'm very much passionate about train journeys, I chose the local train service. From Lalguda gate MMTS station, it is around 1.4kms, walkable distance to the destination.
The Buddhist complex with a Buddhist shrine and meditation hall, located atop mahendra hills, offers a bird's-eye view of the city.
Early morning or evening is the best time to visit.
