A walk through the Old city of Hyderabad -
Im Sivani, i have been here for past 4 months. According to my point of view this city is divided into three- Old city, New city and Hi-tech city. The Old city carries the Memories, Small narrow roads, Masjids, Temples, Small street shops, Bazaars, Street paintings, Old buildings, and even the dressing style also have a touch of past. But the New city is somewhat having a busy traffic life, big Hotels, Malls, Metro, etc, and the Hi-tech city, a Technological industry hub which is 24*7 active, and there are no weekends & holidays. But my journey was through the heart of the Old city of Hyderabad.. The story starts from the creation of the city in 1591 till the end of Nizam's rule in 1948.. Looking back to the past 357 years journey of the Old city, we can see the Remnants of Islamic, Rajasthani, Maharashtrian, and other Architectural styles bearing testimony to Hyderabad’s centuries-old cosmopolitan culture.. Streets, Buildings, Baazars even a single door also have something to tell about the past including the story of seven Nizams, whose destinies and decisions shaped the history and culture of this region..Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Purani Haweli, Museums, Baazars, Famous Hyderabadi Biriyani, Pearls, and Gem stones..., yes the city is a mosaic of History, Culture, Modernity, Crafts and Business ...❤
