The city derives its name from a combination of two Telugu words 'Nalla' and 'Konda' meaning 'Black Hills'. The Nizamabad "City of Nizams" is a district located in the North-Western region of Telangana. It is a major urban suburb that is the third-largest city in the state of Telangana. Was Previously a part of Andhra Pradesh. It was declared the district headquarters which was governed by the municipal corporation after the reorganization act of 2014. The city is a perfect example of co-existence with both history, religion, and natural resources like lakes and rivers. Situated further away from the coast, It has a tropical climate with occasional rainfall and less humidity. Making it best to visit in winters from November to February.
