This place is an Academic beauty. You can fly back to the Historical chronicles, learn the Hydro electric dam engineering, paraglid & challenge the gravitational physics, submerge in the holy church and acknowledge the Geographical majics.
I with my wife- a couple from India, being not so nerdy nerds graduated the place, and this is our curriculum..........
/*At Zinvali Reservoir*/
Other than mountains, what else can be a best tranquilty site?
So we started at Stepansminda- commonly known as Kazbegi, a base for some wonderful walking and mountain biking. Sitting on 1740 Metres from the ground level, the town's location remains absolutely stunning and is very easy to escape the crowds and explore the surrounding mountains and valleys in peace.
From there we rode to Gergeti Trinity Church- perching a top of a hill of 2,170 meters, in the vastness of the Caucasus Mountains and emoldurated by the awesome "Mount Kazbek"
Then to the Appealing Panorama- Gudari viewpoint. We explored every nook and corner from the adventurous Paragliding over the valley to the Peaceful Friendship monuments.
Flying through the blue skies amidst the snow covered mountains with rejuvenating ponds and sacred forests down below, while the cool breezes from the mountains, forests and lakes hitting us and our wing from all sides was inexplicable.
/*Flying over the Russia-Gerogia Frienship monument*/
Tiblisi- The capital city of Gerogia, it is an ancient city with many architectural monuments mingling with modern buildings in the foothills of the Trialeti mountain range, and is surrounded on three sides by mountains.
Lastly, The Chronicles of Gerogia- a pure symbol of Georgia's Historical significance. It is a monument located near Tbilisi sea.
The Chronicle of Georgia consists of gigantic pillars. The top parts are decorated with scenes of the history of Georgia, mainly with the kings and queens who reigned over the country. The lowers parts portray the life of Jesus chirst.
This monument is impressive, not only because of its sheer size and the surrounding views but also because of the decorative scenes on the huge pillars. It surely proves ancient engineering prowess.
We first had to climb a big staircase that led us to the platform on which the stone blocks were standing. It’s only when we arrived at the top – completely out of breath – that we realized how huge this monument was!
Thus by appreciating the History, challenging the Physics, learning the engineering, worshipping the religions and embracing the Geography... we scholared the place.
