New Year celebrations aren't over yet, and most of you might have already penned down your bucket list for 2020. However, you might want to re-shuffle it, as the Malaysian government has a wonderful new year surprise for all Indian passport holders! According to a recent passport order, Indian citizens can now travel to Malaysia without a tourist visa for up to 15 days in 2020!
So what do you need to do?
If you have a valid Indian passport, all you need to do is register yourself on the electronic travel registration and information (eNTRI). An eNTRI Note will be issued as proof of the registration and it is required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia.
Besides, all Indian citizens must produce a valid proof of possessing adequate cash to sustain themselves for the whole duration of the trip, a travel itinerary, and a valid flight ticket back to India or to the next destination out of Malaysia.
What else?
The service is only valid if the travellers with valid Indian passports are entering and exiting through authorised airports (or entry/exit points) in Malaysia and will be in effect from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
