Chandigarh capital of Punjab and Haryana is a perfect model for city. All building, roads, sectors are well maintained. Chandigarh is a neat and clean city of India. City beautiful Chandigarh has many tourist attractions. Few of them are

Only few of us know about beautiful botanical garden which is located near 14 sector in small village in Chandigarh. Only local persons of Chandigarh visit this place.
This botanical garden is the first choice for nature lovers. This is a mixture of flora and fanna. You can see many ponds having lotus flowers, forests of bamboo, tree house, lake and lots of more.
You can wander in Botanical garden and enjoy nature in calm environment.
Mostly vistors visit rock garden and sukhna lake of Chandigarh which is capital of Punjab and Haryana and tagged with title of 'city beautiful '.
As of its name this is beautiful and fully planned city with strict rules of traffic. You cannot hear any unnecessary horn blown by vehicles. You cannot see harsh driving in city. There are footpath for cycling and walking, trees on dividers, peace and calm environment.
This beautiful city has unique Botanical garden. I visited this botanical garden with my friend navneet kaur when I was studing M.sc Physics from Panjab University Chandigarh.
At that time there was no entry fee for visiting botanical garden.
This botanical garden covers large area of land. We reached by walking from PU Chandigarh. After about 15 minutes of walk we reached. Then we started exploring botanical garden.
1.First we walked on footpath which leads to beautifully maintained ponds which have charming bloms of Lotus flowers.
2. Then we entered in bamboo forests , so many Bamboo trees. With some shades of sunlight looks very mesmerizing.
After bamboo Forest there was herb forest.
3. Then there was a tree house constructed with wood having stairs.
4. After some walk there was a some water Lake in open ground and botanical garden ' ending boundary told us about finish of walk and go back side.
Some tips
1. Wear comfortable sports shoes so that you can walk easily in Botanical garden.
2. Have some time about half day spend in lap of nature, to enjoy nature.
3. Auto and taxis are easily available for Botanical garden. You can book ola or uber cab easily.
4. Monday to Saturday timing is 4am to 7:30 and Sunday botanical garden opens for 24 hours.

This botanical garden situated in Sarangpur Chandigarh. Famous landmark of Chandigarh PGI and panjab University is about 2 kilometres away from this botanical garden. You can easily reach this beautiful place.
