Day 1

Muneeshwaram Hindu temple. Muneeshwaram means the first temple for Shiva (Munnu + Easwaran). A Shiva Lingam was already here when Lord Rama visited this place.

Day 2

Koneswaram temple of Trincomalee (also historically known as the Thirukonamamalai Konesar Kovil, the Temple of the Thousand Pillars and Thiru-Konamamalai Maccakeswaram Kovil) is a Hindu temple in Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka venerated by Saivites throughout the continent. It is built a top Swami Rock, a rocky promontory cape overlooking Trincomalee, a classical period harbour port town.

Day 3

After Breakfast proceed to Kinniya to witness the hot water springs. Then proceed to Shankari Devi temple Shankari Devi Temple (Shakthi Peetham).The famed SHANKARI Temple, in Sri Lanka, is one of the 18 Devi Temples (Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas). Many have heard the Ashtadasha Shakti Peetha Shloka starting with LANKAAYAAM SHAANKARI DEVI.composed by Sri Adi Shankara which means Shankari in Lanka. This Shloka enumerates the list of places of Devi temples which are considered to be part of the 18 Devi Peethas.

Day 4

Today Head to the central kingdom of Sri Lanka. Kandy is the cultural city in Sri Lanka. The ancient city of Kandy is known as the Buddhist shrine and was the last capital of the Sinhala kings Buddha Tooth Relic Temple also located on the edge of the beautiful Kandy Lake in the center of the holy city of Kandy. In the evening visit to the TEMPLE OF THE SACRED TOOTH RELIC. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, a tooth, which is venerated by Buddhists. The city “Kandy” is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO, in part due to the temple.

Day 5

After breakfast proceed to Nuwaraeliya. En Route 1,889 meters above sea level. Visit Ramboda Hanuman temple. Nuwara Eliya is situated in the central mountainous area, the temperature is 4-16 °C all year round. It is widely known as authentic Ceylon Tea all over the world. So, in this tour, you can taste Ceylon tea in your Tea factory tour.

Day 6

After breakfast visit Seetha Amman Kivil and Ashoka Vatika. Sita Amman Temple is the place where Sita spent most of the time during her captivity on the island of Lanka. After she refused to stay in Ravana’s magnificent palace she was transferred to Ashoka Vatika or Ashoka Vana where she lived under Ashoka trees. It was here that Hanuman met her for the first time, identifying himself with the finger ring of Rama. Sita is said to havebathed in the nearby stream. There are remarkable holes in the rocks at the riverbank believed to be footprints of Lord Hanuman.

Day 7

After breakfast visit the Anjaneyar temple in Sri Lanka and Kelaniya temple and Leave to a hotel

in Negambo for overnight stay. Anjaneyar Temple -This is the first Anjaneyar Temple in Sri Lanka and also the only Panchamuga (five faced) Anjaneyar Temple in Sri Lanka. It’s the only temple in the world to have a chariot for Ajanyear. Kelaniya Temple -After King Ravana’s death, Vibeeshana was coroneted as King of Lanka by Lakshmana at Kelaniya. There are murals enshrined outside the Buddhist temple depicting the crowning of Vibeeshana. The Kelani River is mentioned in the Valmiki Ramayana and Vibeeshana palace was said to be on the banks of this river.
