Samsing

A spectacular small hamlet in the Dooars region of West Bengal brings an utter joy when visited being exhausted from our daily hectic schedule. From New Jalpaiguri to New Mal Junction one can enjoy the slow chugs of train and eagerly view the nature's bliss. We stayed at Trishna lodge where the warm welcome by the hotel manager instantly melted our hearts and made our trip memorable. The very first day we visited Suntaleykhola. The meaning of Suntale is orange and Khola means stream. But the gushing water of River Murti is more than of a stream. If you want to remain away for some days from the hustle bustle of city life then this small serene hamlet welcomes you. We next visited to Jhalong and Bindu. From samsing you can also visit Neora valley National Park which is a lush green forest with variety of species of bird and butterflies.
