Day 1: Arrival in Egypt
Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet and assist by our representative who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.
Day 2: Great Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara
Your real holiday starts right now.
Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Transfer to Giza Railway to board your seated train to Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor Highlights
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will meet with your guide to commence your tour to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Take your lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to Karnak and Luxor Temples.
Transfer to Luxor railway to board your seated train to Cairo.
Day 4: Alexandria Highlights
From Giza Railway, you will drive to the beautiful City of Alexandria to explore its major highlights, the Qaitbay Citadel, the Roman Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqfa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the Library of Alexandria from outside. Have your lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Cairo.
Day 5: Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili
Today, you will explore the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of the Egyptian past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. The eye-catching objects such as the golden treasure of Tutankhamen, the silver treasure of Psusennes I, the diorite statue of Khafre, and several other pieces are on view. From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel. You finish your tour at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.
Transfer to Cairo airport for final departure.
