The cable car takes you to the peak of Karren mountain at an altitude of 976 meters. This 5 min ride is totally worth it and leaves you spellbound as you climb up the mountain.

Once you reach the top, to your left, you can see parts of Switzerland and its mountains and if you look straight ahead, you will see Bodensee i.e., Lake Constance and parts of Germany. Another special thing is, the ride is also available up until late evenings, giving you an incredible night view of the valley and far across the lake Constance under the night sky. How cool!

You can also hike to the top of the mountain if you feel adventurous. On top, there is a restaurant - Panorama restaurant Karren to savor meals and enjoy the beautiful view together.
How to get there
There is easy connectivity by bus from Dornbirn Bahnhof (bus no's 207, 176, 177) to Karren cable car station. Parking is also available if you are coming by car or personal vehicle.

Entry: Rides are for every 15 mins. Open on all days from 9am to 11pm.
So, there are basically two tariffs i.e., day and evening. From morning 9am till 6pm is a Day tariff (entry fees for adults 15€ and kids 7.50€) and from 6pm to 11pm, its evening tariff (entry fees for adults 12€ and kids 6€) to enjoy the night view of the town.
I visited during the day and I'm sure the views during the evening/night is also spectacular with the lights lit up down the valley and on the lake.
