An exciting news for all the travel adventure seekers out there is that a new high-speed maglev train has been debuted by China on January 19’ 2021! The train is capable of hitting speeds of 620 kilometers per hour and also allows for faster, frictionless travel.
According to reports, the scientist of the Southwest Jiaotong University has created this magical train that has no wheels. The development of the magnetic levitation train has been done with the help of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) technology. This technology uses magnets that allow the train to 'hover' above the track. This makes it look like the train is floating along the magnetised tracks.

China is known as the world leader in the field of construction of high-speed railways. They had featured over 37,900 kilometers of rail lines. Now, the country’s first maglev system has operated since 2003 in shanghai with the help of German technology. The Chinese HTS maglev tech claims to be better fitted as compared with other technologies for this futuristic superfast transportation in vacuum tubs. The HTS technology holds the capability to make the train float without electricity, and it can be moved with just one hand. Crazy, right?
The new maglev train being a part of China's plan is all set to create faster links between the cities of the country.

This train would be a great help for the travelers as it can decline the travel time between London and Paris to a mere 47 minutes. Even, based on the reports, researchers are also working to stretch the train speed to 800 kmph.
