In the middle of a sleepy village called Saligao in North Goa, lies this 100-year old homestay which is the perfect escape for a quick weekend getaway to Goa!Named after the owner’s pet dog, Jenny’s homestay is a stunning accommodation option which is perfect for people who want to stay near all the popular beaches , yet want to escape the maddening party crowds.
Started by a couple from Mumbai, Hardika and Anirudh, this vintage house has been restored to its former glory over the last few years. Wanting to escape the rat race, the couple moved to Goa and made this their home. While they occupy the basement, the first floor is open to guests along with their independent garden cottage.
All the rooms are equipped with HD TVs, air conditioners, minibar, water heaters and bath essentials for the comfort of guests. With attached balconies and independent entrances, there is plenty of privacy for a relaxing stay at this Portuguese house.
The whole house can accommodate up to 9 people in its three rooms. Designed with colourful linen and bright, happy colours for the interiors, they have allowed lots of natural light to come in their home.
With a colonial furniture setup and a lovely garden, you can sit out in your balconies or laze around reading at the homestay.

There are plenty of things to do around this charming village. Experience local life by sampling some treats at the farmers market on Saturdays or catch a live gig at one of the popular beach shacks around the area. Spend a lazy morning eating a hearty breakfast made with fresh produce or channelise your inner chef to experiment with some delicacies yourself. With plenty of eateries available in the vicinity, it is also most recommended to try out homemade Goan delicacies after you take a stroll along the beaches nearby.
