This is not my first trip to Goa but ya for south Goa ...Yes ! and i m so much happy for my this decision. South Goa is so know as lonely planet for their some beaches . For honeymoon, family or peaceful vacation this is the best place where you can disconnect from world and just enjoy your vacation with your one on the beaches. If you are in love than you will fall in love once again with your partner nd if not than you will surely fall in love with your partner, this is the charm of south goa. If your romantic than the honeymoon will become a fairy tale . Candle light dinner on the beach and long walk with holding your partner hands on sea shore on Full moon light ...what else ...everything you arrange there without any hesitation or disturbing elements. No need to worry about your safety because south Goa and beaches are safe. Near by beaches the restaurant will also arrange what you want :-)

South Goa is more far than north goa from airport , some time you lose patient but when you reach, its worth to spend your vacation there.

Important Points :

Take a flight from Delhi and reached Goa

Time duration - 2 hr 40 mins

Goa Airport to south Goa ( Patnem beach )--- 75 km to 80 km ( depend upon routes )

Hotel - Beach house/Huts ( casa fiesta )

First day we spend our evening on patnem beach which is most beautiful beach for me in goa. Too peace, no much more crowd and lovely ambiance with candles. We ordered sea food from casa fiesta restaurant and its too yummy and fresh. After dinner we just walk on the beach and sit near by sea shore and no world to explain how much it is romantic. You feel so peace which cool your mind automatically.

Second day we take a scooty on rent and drive for Shri Mallikaarjun templePalolem beach, Agonda and again my fav patnem for watching sun set. Awesome and marvelous sun set, love it.

Third day in morning we take a boat ride for butterfly island, honeymoon island and dolphin trip. This trip was 2 hour boat trip. Worth for money. Than we cover Colva beach which is also a good palce. Here you can find pub and party type crowds. We also find a very good and lonely beach is rajbagh which become a second place where i fall in love with south goa :-)

Four Day we visit north goa and was cover Baga beach and Calangute and famous fort aguada fort.

Fifth Day we again visited Rajbagh and after that we back for delhi.

Situated not so far away from Dabolim Airport, Bogmalo is a decent stop for those with spare two to three hours before their flight.

  • Highlights: Scuba Diving
  • How to Reach: Bogmalo beach is situated on the road to Dabolim airport, thus it is quite easy to travel to Bogmalo by a cab.

5.Varca:

Known for its beach, Varca is a popular destination for tourists in South Goa. At a short distance from Varca is its beach, which is nothing short of unparalleled beauty. An array of Palm trees, sprawling golden sand, azure water and almost hawker-free coast makes Varca one of the most fascinating places to be in Goa. At Zuri White Sands Resort on the Varca Beach there is an interesting place for tourists called Dunes, which is a casino (Another thing Goa is famous for).

  • Highlights: The Our Lady of Gloria Church, Casino
  • How to Reach: 55 min (35.7 km) via Edapally - Panvel Hwy

6. Cabo De Rama Fort

This is one of the oldest forts in Goa built during pre Portuguese era and supposed to be one of the prime attractions of Goa. The name of this fort shows roots in the mythological legends, which indicate that Lord Rama along with his wife Sita stayed here during their fourteen years period of exile. Inside the fort there is a Church of Santo Antonio which is still in use and visited by devotees to offer Prayers. The atmosphere of this place is alluring tourist throughout the year. Fascinating views of the surrounding region can be enjoyed from the top of the fort.

  • Highlights: Church
  • How to Reach: 43 min (24.5 km) via MDR49

7. Colombo -

The beach boasts about some excellent eat-out options predominantly serving Kashmiri, Italian and Swiss food. Colomb is separated by Neptune’s Point (a large rock) from Palolem beach. To make it more clear, Neptune’s Point is the same place where the famous Silent Noise weekly headphone parties take place. There are also some lovely and affordable resorts available here.

  • Highlights: Neptune’s Point, Beach Shacks, Silent Noise Party, Kashmiri Food
  • How to Reach: Colomb is a short distance from Palolem beach, which makes it a lot easier to be reached either by a cab or a bike.

Many more places are in south Goa but if you want peace than i suggest you to cover few points rather than more points because just chill and relax instead of exhaust from lots of travelling.

Note -

 1. Must try Goan food from local dhaba , best one is near by patnem is "Family Restaurant " Best goan food ever i had nd good quality, service and price

Fish Thali - Rs. 120 { its yummy :-) } , you can also order prawn fry, and many more varieties of fishes and crab too

2. Scooty Price - Rs.300 for one day ( petrol not included )

3. Petrol available in many store so enjoy your ride

4. Suggestion : Do not drink and drive because it is not at all but if you not love with your life then also don't try it because there are many ghats in south goa which may also give you a feel of valley flavor in sea area

Be a good driver and just follow ghat rule to avoid accidents.
