Since the time I got to know about Dalhousie I always wanted to visit this place. And this last December I visited there and it was worth of it. We stayed at Banikhet as Dalhousie has expensive places to stay and Banikhet is just 10km before the main so we can go there by bus which are always there.
First we visited the St. John's church. It was built by British people in 1863.
From there we headed to khajjiar, a lake sorrounding by many pine trees. It's a beautiful place to spend sometime. A temple in between adds to the beauty of it. The time I went it was not snowy but very cold. On the way of it there was snow on the roadsides. It was like riding on the white and shades of green mountains.
It's a big ground where people do horse riding around it to see all around.
Dalhousie's famous Gandhi chowk is famous on its own having many eating places, market and cafes iused
