Hello hill station lovers. Are you fed up of the the city noises and the workloads? Spend the weekend in Shimla and breathe some really fresh air. Shimla is a jaw dropping hill station and is the capital city to Himachal Pradesh. It's not only the place that is beautiful, the inhabitants of Shimla are so nice and polite and helpful as well. You will feel like you are no stranger to anyone. There are many places to see in Shimla, but today i will tell you about the five most interesting places so that you don't have to confuse yourself in choosing where to go.

1. The Mall Road (The Maal Road)

Mall road of shimla is the most happening place because there is the all time popular church where, be it tourists or locals, all stop by and pose in front of the church, so that they can brag about being there. You can horse ride and pose in traditional pahari dresses with your bestie. You can shop some real wooden stuff from the tiny shops lined aside the road.

2. Lakkar bazaar

Its near to mall road. There you shouldn't miss the most popular Choley-Bhature spot of shimla from Sita Ram & Sons. It's finger licking good. You can shop the most creative wooden artworks from there, as you've guessed from the name of the place itself.

3. Sanjauli

This is a place most tourists doesn't get to go because their tour guide prolly doesn't know about it. You will get to see one of the oldest Tibetan monastery named Jonang and witness a hill covered with Tibetan prayer flags. There is also a very beautiful Shera wali Mata Mandir on the top of the hill.

4. Naldhera

This is the perfect picnic spot. Its a low forest hill and you can also spend one of the nights in these cute little cottages amidst the forest. There is a magnificent golf field for the golfers. You can also try your hands on zip line and let loose all your anxieties with your screams.

5. Kufri

If you love skiing and snow, Kufri is the place for you. But mind you be all prepared for the muddy roads up hill during rainy season. Wear your thickest yet cool outfit and enjoy all the games up there. oh yes, you get to ride Yaks as well.
