Spread out along the lovely Parvati River and with mountain views, Kasol is the main traveler hang-out in the valley. It’s a small village, but overrun with reggae bars, bakeries, internet cafes and cheap guesthouses catering to a largely hippie/Israeli crowd, You’ll either love it or loathe it.

Ours was a weekend getaway trip to Kasol which is 500 Kms from Delhi and takes 10 Hours to reach. Stayed at possibly the best located hotel (Hotel White House) near the banks of Parvati River. for places to look around/ explore near Kasol are Manikaran Gurdwara, Tosh Village and Kheer Ganga.
