Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Himachal Pradesh is the unmarred beauty of India. From Mandi to Chitkul, Tabo to kibber, Baijnath to Kheerganga, Shimla to Manali, Dharamshala to Khajjiar; this state is an art framed and forged by god itself.

While I was lost wandering through himachal, it was the day 3 of my journey and it happened to be my birthday. With in-somnolence and a heavy heart i left from Dharamkot to Dalhousie, which was my next stop. I was supposed to catch a bus from Mcloedganj to Dalhousie around 7am and i did everything possible to be at time and as it is always supposed to happen, I was late by few minutes and i missed it !

Somehow, i managed to reach the bus stand and boarded my bus to Dalhousie. Even in August, weather was quite cold and if you are traveling between June to August, don't forget to carry a umbrella, raincoat and a jacket too. After cold and mind- blowing traveling tiredness taking over me , i checked into my room and rested as much as i can. Keeping the fact that's is my birthday today, i got dressed up and finally went out to enjoy my evening in Dalhousie.

After rambling the market and shopping my heart out at Tibetan market , which has quite a options to shop and spend. The market has nice options of street food as well as nice dhabas and restaurants. After stuffing in myself with mouth-watering chicken tikka and lots of mushroom soup. I decided to head back since it was raining badly and place went deserted very soon too.

So after a blissful sleep , i packed my stuff and yes cold and rain, somehow shattering my courage to move out , but knowing the fact that this might be my chance, i didn't gave up and boarded a bus from dalhousie to khajjiar at 10.15 am which costed me only 25 INR (if i remember clearly).

With Cold winds hitting in and weather getting worsen, i reached khajjiar finally and to be honest , it was worth it . Lots of people told me so many things before i was planning my journey, but it was my call and in general , people will tell their experiences, all we can do is to take whatever suits us or even not , if we don't want to. After Contemplating the beauty lying ahead of me and capturing every moment in my eyes and heart and a bus to catch up from pathankot at 4pm, I decided its time to let go.

And then came the twist, there was no till 1.30 pm and I was left with a option to pay 1k for travelling to back to dalhosuie from where i was supposed to board a bus for pathankot. Somehow, it felt like a wastage, which made me learn a lesson, to always plan ahead before heading somewhere, atleast the budget and trying to stick to it. After lots of other drama happening on the same day, I somehow made it back to delhi on 8th August, 2018. With a advice for you all to board a bus directly from dalhosuie to delhi and not taking the other way around in expectation that it will be taking lesser time.

This Ends my Himachal Pradesh Journey for now, see you all soon at another destination with me .

Thank You
