madra is a famous dish of shimla which comes from chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. This dish made with these things soaked chickpeas (chana) or vegetables. Cooked well in the oil and various spices such as cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, cumin, coriander powder and turmeric powder enhance the taste of this dish. This represents the food culture of Himachal Pradesh.
I ate this dish at Himachal Rasoi Restaurant and it was very tasty.
