Day 1

My first solo trip had started which I was planning since 6 months. Landed in Delhi, The capital of India. I always wanted to visit Delhi as I liked the city and its life. After landing, I visited the famous Shyam Sweets in chawri bazar to have their delicious bedmi puri and nagori halwa. This one is must to have. Then I visited the lal jain mandir opposite red fort, its one of the oldest jain temple with ancient idols. After morning prayers, I visited the Connaught place, Delhi's one shot destination for all shopping, eating and entertainment. Since It was a noon time I went to a bar and had some beer. Post lunch I visited the India Gate and the new war memorial. I would suggest every Indian to visit this place once in his life. This will give you the feel of a true Indian. Remembering the brave soldiers who gave their life for our security is best. I also visited Rashtrapati Bhavan and all cabinet ministry office, of course from outside. The whole 3 km road from Indian Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan wonderful. In the evening I had a bus for Manali.

Day 2

The bus journey was quite relaxing, we stopped for half hour at a dhaba for dinner and continued our journey. The morning view was mesmerising, snow capped mountains and the cold weather, amazing. My cab was waiting for me and as soon as I got down from the bus, the cab took me to my hotel. As there was a snow fall the previous night, there was snow everywhere. It added more beauty to this heavenly city. After getting fresh at the hotel, I went to the ancient Hidimba temple. If you are in Manali, you need to visit this place. The temple is surrounded by the forest of long deodar trees and is away from the city's hustle and bustle. Since it was the month of March, the temple had snow. Spend your time in the forest and you will forget all your sorrows and tensions. You will feel like never leaving the place. After Hidimba temple I visited the famous mall road, the lifeline of Manali. There all kind of shops and restaurants. In between you will find many activites like zipline, the rates are nominal and the fun is thrilling.

Day 3

Today I visited Kasol, the paradise for solo travellers. The road trip from manali to kasol via kullu is very mesmerising. You will see people enjoying paragliding, river rafting amid snow capped mountains. After reaching kasol, I checked into my hotel and headed to manikaran sahib which is 4 km away. A very rare site where you will see ice cold water in the river and boiling hot water springs side by side. The hot water springs are said to be very effective for skin diseases. People take holy dip in the water before entering the gurudwara. The langar served here is prepared using water from the springs. Its very spiritual place which will calm your mind. After returning to kasol I went to one of the cool cafes this town is famous for. The parvati river was in her full flow and you siting by her bank enjoying your favourite drink..just imagine.

Day 4

Today I came back to visited solang valley which is 40 mins away from Manali. Since rohtang pass is closed im the month of March, this becomes alternative for visiting snow point. You need special suit and shoes before visiting solang as it is fully covered in snow. There are many shops on the way where you can stop by and rent the cloths. I would recommend to take full suit, boots and gloves. As soon as you start reaching solang, you will see only snow around you. Your cab will drop you near parking point and then you need to trek some miles for reaching the top site. Walking is difficult as the snow is 2 foots deep. Once you reach at the top, you will just love it. And the best part was, the snowfall started. There are activities like para gliding, motor ride, snow sliding. You will find cafes serving softies, maggie and tea.
