" If Himachal Pradesh is the queen of Hills then Manali would undoubtedly it's Tiara". In June 2015, we planned a short family trip to Kullu Manali . We started our journey on 24th June 2015 from ISBT, Kashmiri Gate at 8:00 PM.

Day 1

We landed in Manali on 25th June 2015 around 10 am and reached our cottage (Venus villa) which was located from hustle-bustle of the town and the serenity of that place makes us forget the overnight tiresome journey and left us mesmerized. On first day after relaxing our mind & body and having delicious breakfast, we headed to Vashisht Temple and Hidimba temple, took blessings and went to the local sightseeing like mall road, fish farm which was very close to our cottage was turned out to be fun and pun for the kids. After having a small chit chat with the "Love- birds", Angora rabbit and Masak-Kali we returned to the cottage and enjoyed the bonfire with family and other travelers.

Day 2

On second day we headed to Kullu which was around 1.5 hrs away from our place to visit the most tranquil place "Manikaran Gurudwara" without the blessings of which one's visit to Kullu Manali is incomplete. After showering the hot springs of Parvati valley, we were again ready to explore more. Moving to Beas River which is often described as the Heart of Kullu valley and is known for its various camping spots and water sports. The flow of the river was very fast and absolutely perfect for Rafting. But we regret to not took up the adventure because we reached around 5.30 pm, the closing time sadly. The shores of the Beas are famous picnic spots and the best place to relax during the evenings so we spend some time there to jubilate the kids and returned to our place around 9 pm.

Day 3

So, the third day we were going to explore the snow point which is also called Rohtang pass. The high mountain pass of Rohtang lies at an altitude of 3,978 meters above sea level and located in the eastern hills of the Pir Panjal Range. Rohtang Pass is famous for its picturesque views of the valley and various hidden waterfalls.

Known for its scenic beauty, Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance for India. The Pass offers beautiful sights of glaciers, peaks, Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. Coming back to the narration, we started around 4 am in the morning to avoid the traffic but could not help in getting stuck in the long queue and it started raining heavily. After a long struggle of traffic we somehow managed to reach around 10 am and witnessed the snow capped mountains, Sigh!!. The beauty cannot be expressed in words, this is a must visit on your trip Kullu-Manali.

Day 4

The last day of our trip was the adventurous one. Our organizers had planned some thriller activities for us. Once reached to the place we were asked to sit and relax for the adventurous activities. After some time we started with the activities of rock climbing and rappelling at nehru kund. Rappelling is much more secure and anybody with normal quality can take an interest in this. River crossing was also on the list but i personally didn't opt for that due to the after - muscle pain because our majestic trip was about to end. It is very well said that "Traveling - it leaves you speechless and then turns you into a Story Teller".
