Hogenakkal falls - The magnificent waterfalls of the River Cauvery, India. Have you been so close to a majestic waterfall? Yeah, it is not safe! But, it is adventurous if you follow the safety when you visit this Niagra Water Falls of India.
There are two viewpoints for this waterfalls:
1. Karnataka
Usually, tourists coming from Salem Dt of Tamilnadu and tourists coming from the Mysore side of Karnataka can reach this view point where I'm standing fearless.. lol.
2. From Tamilnadu
People coming from other parts of Karnataka and Tamilnadu will usually reach the viewpoint that is on the Tamilnadu side. (You don't get this view). However, to get a magnificent view of these waterfalls, tourists have to board a boat and reach this point (50 to 100rs per head).
There are a few amazing spots where you can spend time with friends and family. So many small falls are there and you can have your privacy in such spots in the offseason.
You can have an awesome oil massage and take the best shower of your lifetime in the main falls.
So many fish cuisines are available and you will not regret coming to this place.
