Hi guys! Here I am ready with the second part of my 10 favourite beaches. Out of all the beaches that I have seen so far, there were some that I visited when my emotional health was in a mess. All these beaches were unbelievably beautiful but I was able to appreciate them even more because I realised that a little darkness is needed to be grateful for the light. Maybe the landscapes were the same but my perspective to look at them had changed. Beaches have healed me in so many ways. In short, they have saved me!

In this part of the blog, I will be covering my remaining 5 favorite beaches (Check out my other 5 favorite beaches here).

Disclaimer

It was extremely tough for me to select my 5 favorite ones out of all the beaches that I have seen to date. It is probably the most difficult task that I did today. And in no way I could put them in a sequence. I like these the most and all of them are ranked equally. So I have just put them in chronological order.

Let the ocean breeze put our minds at ease!

My 5 Favorite Beaches

1. Radhanagar Beach, Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Radhanagar Beach was given the title of the best beach in Asia and the 7th best beach in the world. The white silky sand, emerald blue sea, and white foam waves make it a perfect spot for relaxing amid the natural beauty. There are lush and verdant trees on its side. No water sports are allowed here in order to preserve the gorgeousness of this attraction. You can choose to either swim or sunbathe at this tranquil beach. I went there in the late afternoon so that I could appreciate the lovely sunset in the evening at this marvelous slice of heaven. But I couldn’t get enough of it in just one visit. That’s why I went there again the next day.

2. Varkala Beach, Kerala

I love apricating all day long! Basking in the sun at regular intervals is what keeps me alive. When I was at Varkala Beach, I did my 3 favorite beachy things—getting tanned, drinking exotic mocktails, and eating a lot. The bohemian vibes of this place are magical. It was quite obvious for me to fall in love with its hippie culture and the quirky cafes on the 15-meter high Northern Cliff adjacent to the Arabian Sea serving delicious food and playing global music.

3. Lighthouse Beach, Kerala

In God’s own country, I found Lighthouse Beach to be an ideal spot for leisure and relaxation. Tranquil ambiance, azure waters, and soothing breeze—there was nothing more I could possibly ask for. Moreover, the beach line is dotted with a number of cute restaurants. Enjoying a meal or sipping coffee amid the soothing sound of waves while looking at the red and white lighthouse is the perfect way to unwind here.

4. Ao Nang Beach, Thailand

Ao Nang Beach in the exotic Krabi is a blissful place to enjoy a good book surrounded by the serene ocean sound. It is a small and nice beach that offers a gorgeous sunset view. The stretch of sand alongside shallow waters is quite long and thus, there are so many lively shacks as well as quieter spots where I could spend quality time alone. For me, who is always seeking the sun and the sea, this beach is among the best choices as it offered me complete peace of mind. And the best part—the beach has swings as well!

5. Chandrabhaga Beach, Odisha

My first thought after seeing this beach was “Woah! It is more beautiful than a lot of Goa beaches.” Visiting this beach was not in my initial plan but the universe let me experience serendipity as I somehow decided to go there. I had never heard anything about Chandrabhaga Beach before in my life but here I was, soaking my feet in the salty, crashing waves, saying goodbye to all my worries (at least for some time). This is a less-frequented hidden jewel and staying there till sunset was unforgettable for me. It was amazingly gorgeous at that time of the day. Moreover, it is Asia’s first beach to get the Blue Flag certification.

Quite often, my idea of paradise is to escape and sit quietly on a beach. It makes me say things to myself that I can’t say otherwise. That’s why for the rest of my life, I would love to drink the wild air, live in the sunshine, and swim in the sea!
