The reason I decided to write this piece is because I had encountered the same question multiple times by friends and family. And as I question myself how many times do i have to visit before I can say I have been there enough.Over here I would say its never enough number of times that you have visited this incredible place GOA. How can you not keep going back to a place that has so much to offer to each and everyone. This little place has so many options to explore that you can always keep coming back.Well for people who haven't seen the other side of it may exemplify Goa as a ultimate party paradise, but I believe it is beyond that. You can be someone planning to take your first solo trip , weekend getaway with your friends, college reunion, couple looking for some your time ,you could be a bag packer or a yoga enthusiast.I am totally in love with this little piece of paradise , so much so that I wish to settle down there in the future. The first time I picked up Goa was definitely for the very reason it gets associated for , to celebrate and party on the new years eve. Of course I had also planned to club it with other to do things like water sports, check out the famous beaches, shop at the flea market, eat at local restaurants.Nothing happened like it was planned train tickets never got confirmed until last moment of the day of our journey, but that's OK we took a flight to Mumbai and decided to take the famous Bombay to Goa road trip, as is know for some amazing landscapes. Our bus never showed up until late evening from the scheduled departure time hence none seen and woke up just to realize that the bus that we were travelling in had met with an accident .
So the rest of the journey and the days in Goa were definitely some unfortunate sets of event with very little possibilities to enjoy doing what we planned to do. The bus accident left a bad impact on my back and a big big bandage on my forehead with three stitches.I am still glad this happened as it at least gave me a hope to comeback with better luck and bigger list of things to do.
When two best friends travel they say lets GOA...
Like I said the events from the first trip to Goa gave me a hope to plan yet another one I was back in my dreamland.
I never enjoyed working in an office and it was this one day where I could not think of anything else but travel somewhere. While I juggled between places to go with the
limited budget and no of leaves I could take, it came down to GOA yet again.
While I was planning to do a solo one this time let me confess I wasn't bold enough to take one. So this deal was closed with my best friend for 9 years then . Travelling with a friend you have know for so long just made everything easier and better.
A trip with a tick mark to some and many things I planned .We spent our days dancing, sitting at the beach watching sunset , driving throughout the city , exploring some good place to eat .
Love is in the coast , so were we.
We were deciding on places to go for the birthday celebrations and picked up Goa of all the places, and why not it had become a destination I could gamble on anytime .
Although we must chosen a wrong month to go as it was monsoons there and everything was shut. This off season trip gave us an opportunity to spend so much time with each other and discover the fact that we enjoyed just us more.
What initially looked like a wrong decision, turned out to be a perfect getaway for us. we got a good deal on our stay and the beaches were unbelievably empty for hours .
But let me tell you that I am glad we experienced the monsoons there it was a bliss to be able to sit on empty beaches for hours while it was still pouring , driving through lush green fields, rejoice the beautiful blue skies and inhale the fresh air after that pour
This trip remains on the top of my list.
Impromptu'th time
I had just come back from a work trip and was not travelling again for some time. the idea of sitting home for more than a certain period of time make me anxious and lead me to take this impromptu trip to Goa. It was still winters in Delhi and the idea of going to a warmer place was just what I wanted.
All I wanted to do this time is experience of staying in a hostel , eat at some cafes I had been eyeing on for a long time , master the art of chilling on a beach chair, stumble upon some non touristic places and take loads of pictures in the vibrant surroundings of the fontainhas.
So yes the last trip did pretty much turn out to be a tick mark to all things i wanted to do .
How is it that you don't want to visit here again just after the last one, because there is no such things as you have been there enough.

Like many I don't have a quote by a famous personality to explain why one should travel or why I travel what travel means to me I do not go by standard descriptions that define a passion for me it is something or anything that gives you that adrenaline rush. A feeling that longs even after your journey has come to end , a smile that comes every time you look at a photograph from that travel you did. For me travelling is beyond ticking all the food joints and tourist destinations it is about that magic that you create during the journey. That one moment that gets engraved in your thought is what makes any or many journeys . the feeling where you feel free from mind from thoughts and free from any boundation. it is a situation where one does not think feel restricted .
