North Eastern Heaven of India

Hello Wanderlust Beautiful Souls ! This trip I am publishing with my experience of the North Eastern Beauty. I am not including my other 45 - 50 Hours of Mumbai - New Jalpaiguri Journey. So I am publishing it directly about the Arrival from New Jalpaiguri and ahead. So I arrived New Jalpaiguri and the feeling is mesmerizing but thats just the entrance to the heaven. I had my taxi waiting outside the station and proceeded to Darjeeling. So finally checked-in into the Hotel, took some rest and had a nice walk around my hotel. Hotel Chosen was; ' Shangri-La Residency '. I had my Dinner and was off to sleep.

Good Morning !! It was indeed a very beautiful Morning.. I loved the view from my rooms and felt like never leaving this view and room ever. I had my breakfast and the tour was on. I visited the Batasia Loop, had a view of the amazing Darjeeling Mini Trains powered by steam and these trains comparatively look cute than those regular long haul trains. I visited the Rock Gardens there, Japanese Temple. Also Mirik is something extremely beautiful to have a sight of, it actually soothes your eyes. I came back and had my dinner. Overnight was my time to get back to sleep in the chilling atmosphere of Darjeeling.

Good Morning.. ! Today I had my breakfast and checked out towards Kalimpong. I purchased the tea and trust me, its the best by infinite times compared to the Munnar Estates. This was my fathers verdict after he tasted both of them as he is a tea lover and I am a coffee drinking person. I reached Kalimpong and the route was super amazing. The fog, a bit of drizzle and some music to my ears just makes a memorable blend. I reached Kalimpong and I checked in into The Soods Garden Retreat, again something mesmerizing to enjoy at. I loved the view. I proceeded to the Delo Park, Phodong Monastry and covered the Kalimpong city and its sightseeing. I did miss out on Lachung and Pelling which I only don't know why did I not cover the points. I came back to my hotel and had my dinner and slept.

Good Morning.. !! So today was my plan to have Breakfast, enjoy some sight seeing enroute and then proceed to the Gangtok City. I proceeded ahead to Gangtok and I checked - in into The Golden Crest Hotel. I loved the time I spent in the journey. I had Maggi at a lot of places and it tasted really great, hot Maggi with Coffee to sip in such a cold weather.. The hot coffee that one feels while sipping and the slurrrrp.. just wow! Today I visited the city center and it feels really beautiful. I visited the Nathu-La, Hanuman Tok, Rumtek Monastry and Ganesh Tok. I was back into the Hotel and I quickly slept.

Good Morning.. !! Today I got up a bit early as my plans were to visit the Tshangu Lake.. This one and the Pangong in Leh looks so beautiful that one who visits this place will never ever feel like coming back. I spent a really good time and visited the Shiva Mandir there.. Trust me I never felt so blessed, divine and great ever till date. Also, I came back to the city, had some food and the plan was to rest and have dinner later on.

Good Morning !! Today, I was set to proceed to Bagdogra Airport, I had my Breakfast and proceeded to Bagdogra Airport and I had a flight that hopped Kolkata and reached later to Mumbai. Its totally a different experience once you are in such destinations and the feeling once you are back to the city and the lifestyle. Its like a massive difference. !
