While the world was looking forward to the release of Avengers: Endgame and GOT episode 2, second last week of April for me was a week away from the daily routine!!!!!!!
After months of planning, we journeyed northern India for a span of 9 days and it turned out to be an incredible trip. Company of great friends, good food, awesome weather, fulfilment of expectations along with many unexpected events comprised the trip.
We did all the reservations on our own. Flight bookings (Onward- Pune to Amritsar and Return- Delhi to Pune) were done from EaseMyTrip.com and HDFC SmartBuy. Onward journey had a connecting flight from Delhi whereas return flight was a direct one. We had initially booked Chandigarh to Pune direct JetAirways flight, but since the airline cancelled all their flights, we got a refund on those tickets and booked alternative tickets from Delhi to Pune. Hotel bookings were done on AirBnB and Booking.com. We also pre-booked a cab (at a very good deal of Rs.30,000/-) for our entire journey of 9 days with Crest Cabs who provided an Innova for us from their partner, Dhanvi Tourism.
