Day 1


Traveling to Delhi, Chandigarh, Pandoh, Manikaran, Kasol, Jibhi, Shimla, and back to Delhi is an exciting adventure that will take you through some of the most beautiful parts of Northern India. From the bustling metropolis of Delhi to the serene mountain town of Jibhi, this journey is full of stunning landscapes, delicious food, and unique cultural experiences. In this blog, we will explore the highlights of this itinerary and give you some tips for making the most of your trip.

Day 1-2: Delhi Your journey begins in Delhi, the capital of India. Delhi is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. Spend a couple of days exploring the city's iconic landmarks, such as the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate, and the Lotus Temple. You can also indulge in some delicious street food and shop for traditional handicrafts in Delhi's bazaars.

Day 3-4: Chandigarh Next, head to Chandigarh, a modern planned city that serves as the capital of both Haryana and Punjab. Chandigarh is known for its architecture, which was designed by the famous French architect Le Corbusier. Visit the Capitol Complex, which includes the Legislative Assembly, High Court, and Secretariat, and the famous Rock Garden, which features sculptures made from recycled materials.

Day 5: Pandoh From Chandigarh, drive to Pandoh, a small town in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Pandoh is located on the banks of the Beas River and is known for its picturesque landscapes. You can go for a stroll along the riverbank or take a dip in the cool waters of the Beas. Additionally u can cover the beautiful prashar lake which is approx 3 hrs drive from pandoh.

Day 6-7: Manikaran and Kasol From Pandoh, head to Manikaran, a holy town located in the Parvati Valley. Manikaran is known for its hot springs, which are believed to have healing properties. You can take a dip in the hot springs and also visit the Gurudwara Sahib, a Sikh temple that serves free meals to all visitors. Nearby is the town of Kasol, which is known for its scenic beauty and trekking trails. You can spend a day exploring Kasol and hiking in the surrounding mountains.

Day 8-9: Jibhi Next, head to Jibhi, a serene mountain town located in the Banjar Valley. Jibhi is known for its natural beauty and is a popular destination for trekking and camping. You can go for a hike to the nearby waterfalls, visit the Jalori Pass, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Jibhi has lot of small cafes ehich serve lip smacking food.

Day 10-11: Shimla From Jibhi, drive to Shimla, the former summer capital of British India. Shimla is a charming hill station that is known for its colonial architecture, stunning vistas, and pleasant weather. Visit the Christ Church, walk along the Mall Road, and take a ride on the famous toy train that runs from Shimla to Kalka.

Day 12: Return to Delhi Finally, it's time to head back to Delhi. Depending on your schedule, you may want to spend a few hours in Chandigarh or stop at some of the other towns on the way back to Delhi like kasauli solan etc..
