Unexpectedly out of blues covid hit the world, the news showing the death tolls and suffering all around.
For Holi it was a low affair with a road trip to Ramanagara and by the weekend bangalore announced shut down of almost all the places.
I flew to home a week before the country went in lock down, good that I was at home safe and secure. Initially it was tough to adjust with work from home. It was after 12 years that I was home for uncertain duration and with no plans. The lockdown was turned into cooking game by the family, with no option to go out we started cooking all our fav at home and sharing them on whatsapp added much to the fun.
I did carry my painting stuff so I started giving much time to my art and created few master pieces. The time I get on weekend was spend much on painting and cooking, workout continued along.
Positive points that the corona brought in: Stress of travelling to work was reduced, better health with organic food and pure air, everything is home made from naan to pizza, workout is regular for first time in my life, spend time with family and met old friends after years, started exploring the places near to my home, I can clearly see change in skin n hair with all homemade packs, our garden turned into bird sanctuary, work can be done despite being at home and it is much easy.
Negative side: All plans for travel failed but still I made a small trip for my bday, art workshop plan failed but I started on building instagram, being at home is frustrating and depressing some time.
There was negative side but I see more of postivity that corona has brought, It has brought families together, minimalist lifestyle has become new normal.
I hope 2021 brings lifeback to normal, with so many failed plans in 2020 I have decide to plan to only when things get back to normal. I am planning for a week workstation visit to Goa or Jaisalmer and a road trip in MP before i flew back to my work place.
I visited these places during lockdown in Madhya Pradesh.
