All the Cinque Terre villages stood isolated pretty much until the last century after which trails were opener connecting each village to the other.Visitors can choose to take a train or hike from one village to the next.One such trail is the La via dell'Amore or The Way of Love which is a pedestrian path overlooking the sea, with a length of just over one kilometer, linking the villages of Riomaggiore and Manarola as it became established to be a meeting point for the lovers residing in the two towns.

7.YOU CAN VISIT ALL VILLAGES IN A SINGLE DAY BY TRAIN

One such stunning town is the town of Levanto also known as the gateway to the Cinque Terre.Levanto is part of the citta slow which means slow cities and rightly so!This small town is a habitat to 6000 people and houses one of the best pizzas in Europe! Now, did we have one?
