What all to explore?
Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal is located in the heart of the city of Jaipur and is considered a landmark. The palace is decorated with 953 windows or the jharokhas
City Palace
City Palace Jaipur is located right in the middle of the old city of Jaipur which covers one-seventh of the area. The main attractions of City Palace are the 4 peacock doors and secret blue corridors. Covering the entire palace needs at least 3 hours so keep an ample amount of time.
Amber Fort
Amber Fort is a pearl on the crowns of Jaipur. The palace is huge and there are 15 to 20 mins of an uphill walk to reach the entrance of the palace. You can either choose to walk enjoying the beauty around you or can also opt for the elephant ride. The fort offers a breathtaking view of the city of Jaipur and the pride of Jaipur, Nahargarh fort.
Nahargarh fort
The interesting fact of Nahargarh fort is, it was built for defense purposes but was never attacked and all the armors were left unused. The most spectacular part of the palace is Madhavendra Bhawan where 12 identical suites are built for 12 queens. It is said that suites were built in such a way that if King visited any one queen, others won't come to know.
Panna Meena ka kund
Panna Meena ka Kund is the best-restored step well or Baori in Jaipur. It is located right in the middle of the city and is just opposite Amber Fort. It is quite an offbeat and must-visit destination while visiting Amber Fort.
Jagat Shromani Temple
While visiting Panna Meena ka Kund, I saw this beautiful ancient temple right on the roadside. I couldn't resist but visit the temple from inside. The temple is quite old and architecturally picturesque from inside. I never read about this place online anywhere on the list of best places to visit in Jaipur, so I was glad I found an offbeat place to explore. Check details here.
