A grand pool with a mini waterfall, spa and some great food, what else do you want for a great getaway from in the middle of the city - Bangalore? Oh! Bangalore, a city of vastness, colour and splendour. Bangalore’s old-world culture and rich history are preserved in its ancient temples, grand forts, palaces and Victorian-era monuments. The modern steel and glass highrises of the city’s tech parks draw creative professionals from across the world, and this multicultural milieu has given rise to plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options.

The Spa is relaxing is rejuvenating. The spa room is designed with good interiors and fragrance where the masseuse intends to heal and with a good Swedish Massage takes all the pains and labours away. The hotel also has a pool for its guests that everyone can explore. With good food by the pool and some filter coffee, there isn't much that anyone else needs. You could also enjoy some drinks, I'd go for mocktails. They have some great sandwiches and tacos too, would definitely recommend.

Food - Eat galore at By The Blue

The food was the best part of my stay at the hotel. The chef literally prepared everything I was craving - ranging from Mexican, Italian, Indian, and Asian to Chinese. In Indian too, I got options from South India, North India and fusion food. Though the dishes were standard like tacos, pasta, pizza or sev puri, the way it was prepared was exquisite with the best ingredients from across India. I still miss how much love they put into the food. It's been a while since I ate such good Indian food.

Places to Explore

Bangalore beer scene - The Beer Scene in Bangalore is the best in India with many in-house breweries. The number of youth moving to Bangalore has increased tremendously and it sure makes sense for there to be more alcohol flowing into the city. As a non-drinker, I did not really try the beer scene but still have some fond memories of hearing people's stories about how good the beer is there!!

Araku filter coffee - Araku coffee (honestly my favourite coffee place in India) - with tones of white in their interiors, the space is beautifully designed to be calming. We all know the relevance of coffee shops as places of intellect during the post-Victorian era, it is a must-recommend to visit Araku coffee for a mix of calm, vibrant and intellectual overtones. Their coffee products are diverse and innovative.

UB City Mall - For all those who love to shop, UB City Mall is a must-visit place in Bangalore. Some of the best brands are in-house. You sure are missing out on the shopping scene if you don't visit.

How to get there?

It's really easy to get to Bangalore. There are flights and trains from every major city in India. You can then simply Uber your way to the hotel or book a hotel car. Everything is accessible and easy to navigate. Have a lovely trip!
