Monumental Visit to Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal, Karnataka, IN | Bajaj Sponsered Official Ride

Hello folks!

Hope you would be doing amazing. This time I'm sharing my 3 day historical visit to one of the UNESCO heritage site, located in Bagalkot district of Karnataka.

This visit is actually a Bike trip, as you could have already imagined from the title. For this Bajaj auto sponsored ride only owners of Avenger 150 & Avenger 220 are permitted to join.

There were around 20 bikes, some were solo while others were with pillion so our headcount was approx 30-32 folks.

Day 1, started from Pune and we had to reach which is 450 km distance. We all gathered at meeting point and started early around 5:00 AM and after taking few refreshment and a big lunch break reached Badami.

Badami is a small town but our stay was at Hotel Clarks Inn one of the best in the town. Dinner & Breakfast is included in stay with buffet styled meal.

Post dinner, we have gathered in one room and enjoyed drinks, dance and singing after the cake cutting of one of our co-rider.

And that's how our day ended with smiling faces and bit tiredness of whole day ride.

Day 2

Day begins with Breakfast and I literally had not just lunch it was brunch (a hell lot of lip smacking options were available so I just savored that all) Then again a small briefing by Troop marshal we lined-up for our 25 km ride to UNESCO heritage site of monuments.

Pattadakal ~ A series of temples built in the 6th and 7th century CE during the time of Chalukya dynasty. The main temple among all are Virupaksha temple, Jain Temple, etc.

This heritage site is not just for Hindu temples but an epicenter of Jainism and Buddhism as well.

we visited all these monuments with guide and truly lived the rich cultural heritage of ours.

Returned to Badami for the night stay and our day ended in that way.

Day 3

It's was our return journey toward Pune. So, we got up early had our breakfast and started our return journey. Taken few photo session on the way (Professional photographer was accompanying us so everyone make the most out of it).

Our lunch was at Kolhapur, where vegetarian and non-vegetarian both type of sapiens enjoyed that.
