Day 1

Usually I used to do lot's of travelling but 2020 kicks off abit late for me🥴.

So yea it was basically oneday trip to mysore from bangalore.

We hired ola Outstation at approx cost of 5000 for

20 hr.

*Ranganathaswamy temple*

We started our journey from banglore at around 7AM of 1st marcha and reached Srirangapatna which falls under Mandya District of Karnataka and it is Located near the city of Mysore.

The surrounding were similar to that of 90's and it gives me a retro vibes.😄

*Venugopala Swamy Temple*

Venugopala Swamy temple backwater was one of the most peaceful places that i have ever visited. It is located at Hosa Kannambadi, near Krishna Raja Sagara. You are not allow to carry your DSLR inside the temple and moreover clicking photo inside the temple is strictly prohibited. There are various God and goddess inside the temple especially different incarnation of goddess lakshmi. You're not allow to offer any money or fruit (prasad) inside but believe me it's worthy and do visit this temple which is surrounded by Kaveri river providing amazing landscape and view and if you're having some kind of mental issues and need some break than you must visit this place ❤

*Brindavan Gardens*

The entry fee per head for Brindavan Gardens is Rs. 50 and you have to pay extra Rs.100 for Dslr.

What a lovely place to be in and it spreads over several acres of land with carpets of green grass , blooming flowers, trees arching to form nice and cool shade on a daytime visit to the garden. Small water fountains are turned on at regular intervals for watering the variety of plants.

Night time musical fountain is mesmerizing. Amazingly wonderful site right next to KRS dam and due to the presence of this damn there is great availability of water because of which every plants and trees were highly maintained and also it became a place for different species of bird's. Its a must visit on your planned trip to Mysore

*Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens*

Let me start with the Entry price which is Rs. 100 per head and let me warn you once you enter the zoo you have to walk 3km no matter what😅. The zoo has all the animals, birds and reptiles. It's quite huge, the best way to enjoy is to walk. It also has special battery operated vehicles for senior citizens.

*Mysore Palace*

It's an awesome place..We visited in the night and the light show was beautiful. And whenever you planned to vist Mysore palace make sure to visit it on Sunday, because sunday is the only day you will see the lightning in the palace.

Mysore palace is the centre of attraction of Mysore city but personally I felt it's one time visit.
