70 kms from Bangalore you have a place to enjoy the thrill of the cave exploration. The hill range is covered with dense forest but the moment you reach at the cliff you will find thorny bushes and natural caves formed by volcanic rocks. These caves attract a lot of travelers.

Anthragange is also famous for its old temples and a natural spring. The importance of this spring is that it originates from a natural source and flows throughout the year. There are a couple of temples that are really old and have an attractive architecture built between the rocks.

We started at 10:00 pm from Bangalore on Friday night in a mini bus. On your way you will only get one CCD. It’s better to grab a bite or have a coffee that will help you stay awake the whole night and enjoy the trek and camping. We reached the base camp at 1:00 am and then started our trek on the rocky roads and caves. It was the first time for all of us and the experience got enough and more thrill among us. We were accompanied by an experienced guide who made our trip easier.

By 3 am we were done with the trekking and had returned to our base. The sticks that we had carried were lit by the guide into a camp fire; we spent the entire night around it singing songs and playing games. At around 5:30 – 6:00 am we enjoyed the beautiful sun rise from the rocky hills. At 8:00 am we started our journey towards Bangalore and by 10:30 am we were at our respective houses.

Thanks to Thrillophia, the trip was very well organized.

Note : While you start from the base camp and trek towards the caves and the mountain cliff don’t forget to carry a torch, bottle of water and a wooden stick. Once you finish the trekking.

"Cave exploration" - I am sure the title sounds interesting. And yes the place is mesmerizing, adventurous and breath taking.
