Always had this craze about wines and how they are made..so travelling to a winery was all that I was looking for. Finally my trip to Bangalore helped me in completing this beautiful journey from Bangalore to Heritage Winery in Channapatna.
The road towards our destination was mind blowing. The highway was awesome..best for the bike riders. After a 80km ride..we finally reached our destination.

Thanks to our GPS..we found the location. There are lot of eateries on the way. You also have its own Epulo Restaurant inside the Winery.
The wine tour costs 200rs and if you are interested in the grape stomping its around 750rs. The wine tour is about how the grapes are picked..selected. .the entire process of fermentation and mixing of alcohol and different wines such the french and indian.
you then finally get to taste 6 different wines.. three French and three Indian.
Shiraz.. Cabernet..Chenin and three indian wines.
They have a store where you can taste and pick the best wine. At a very cheaper price.
For all the wine lovers..this destination is must.
