We started our journey early morning to explore the freshness of nature. Our plan was to reach palani by evening, which was a 8 hour drive from Chathannur, Kollam, kerala. We stopped in between to refresh and breathe in nature's beauty.
Palani is a pilgrim of Lord Murukan located in the district of Dindigul in the state of Tamil Nadu.
We reached by evening, freshened up and visited the temple. We have to climb a 1000 steps to reach atop. The view from above at night was insane.
We started early to reach Munnar. We travelled via Marayoor to Munnar, the view via which was breathtaking. We drove amidst the greenary and sandalwood forests. Munnar is a hill station located in the Idukki district of Kerala.
As we moved through the forest, there were some places where we should not get out of our vehicles, because of the wild animals. We had a wonderful time travelling through the Marayoor road.
We reached Munnar by night and couldn't get out to explore the place that I truly missed. But, the sight itself and small breaks in between our journey was itself eventfull.
We started our day early and it was so cold and the climate felt so good. We were off to Eravikulam national park to get a sight of the famous Nigiri Tahr. This is a must see place if you are at Munnar.
We explored the Munnar market afterwards to get hold of some local fruits and vegetables.
By the time we were about to leave, it was raining heavily. We had our lunch and was to leave.

We spent very little time at Munnar which was not at all enough explore the place completely. I wanted to spent a day or more at the place badly but was forced to go back because of my exams. But,the views were still flashing through my heart.. I yearn for more trips to the place.
