Last friday when I was rushing with a sweating face to catch KSRTC bus along with friends from Bangalore , i didn't know i am going to explore this coolest riverside named Paniyeli Poru . The unfamiliar name won't give us a high expectation, but when you reach this place after a little drive through the village area the first thing you going to say is a “wow “.

At the entry point every visitor have to take an entry pass of 10 rupees . The reception was taken care by a sleeping beauty officer, so the guys have many questions to ask before we enter there :p
One of the security guard checked the number of people and made sure we have taken entry pass for everyone in the team. Tiles have been laid on the ground till we reach some rock area beside of the river.
All the way we going the river through numerous trees, I was lucky to see a big reddish unique spider waiting for its prey .

Who ever going to visit this place must be a little adventures because we have to cross small tributaries to reach to the main river area . Forest guides are always at hand to guide you on your journey. Ignoring the warnings by forest guides at Poru can be fatal. The rock ponds found on the way to the Poru waterfall are nearly 20-22ft deep.

The strong water currents and deep vortex formed between the strata of rocks and mangroves can be dangerous. Beware of the strong under currents, before stepping into the water. The slippery rocks and pebbles may lead to danger.

We keep walk till we reach to the permitted area for visitors, the guard who was in the area reminded us do not try to go into the main river ,he helped us to click a number of group photos of us, after resting sometime in the rock beside the river we guided back to one of the safe water side there we can take bath .

There are many places where you can take a refreshing bath. Unlike the other waterfall or river side places, it has fewer crowds.Even if the water flow was not so strong , rocks beneath the water was slippery, so everyone had taken safe move always.
Resting, by sitting on the offshore surrounded by dense trees, is a unique experience. we spend a lot of time in the water . keeping our body in the crystal clear cool water is an amazing feeling , we tried our best to capture those as photos and videos to keep with us to remember the moments we have spend there . Authorised time to spend there is from 10am -5pm.Before the guard reminding us the closing time will be 5 pm , we dressed up and start walk back to the entry .
