I had a argument with my boss and resigned from my job. I had moved to another city for this job, but it didn't work out for me. I need to pay bills, and to top it off, my birthday is next week. My friend called to check on me. I told him, 'Man, I am jobless, hopeless, and homeless.' He was one of those who left his job because of an argument, so he understood and agreed with me that jobs sucks. He asked me, 'You always wanted to travel to Kerala, right? Come, let’s do this.' I jumped at the opportunity, so I went to Kerala, and the magic began.

I reached Kerala, specifically Kozhikode, and we started this thrilling journey on a bike. Obviously, we were on a budget. Along the way, we had fun on the beachside. There was a small traditional restaurant that was 100 years old, and its authentic South Indian food felt like a blessing in every bite. It was a long ride, almost 300 km, but Kerala is truly God's Own Country; you won’t tire of the beauty of nature it holds. The journey was beautiful, crossing the sea breeze, mountains, and waterfalls. It also started raining a little, with the greenest forest wind blowing, giving comfort. We witnessed a beautiful sunset on the mountains and had coffee with nice views. We were so lost in the beauty of nature that we got late, and our hostel in Munnar was a little far from the main area. Due to the weather, it was so foggy, and almost nothing was visible in good light. Riding on mountains in this weather and condition was scary, but we made it, and the hostel was amazing. It looked like they carved the mountain to build a hostel here. Nothing I imagined; oh my God, I could spend my whole life here.

The next day, we witnessed a spectacular sunrise. If I could have stopped the moment, I would have. We were speechless at the beauty; we even forgot to take pictures. Our bad, though I am sure pictures don’t do justice to this kind of beauty. We explored as much as we could. We reached a tea garden, and the locals were so sweet. They let me explore the tea garden and take as many pictures as I wanted. I helped them with cutting tea leaves, and they offered us their food as well. At that moment, I felt life is seriously so easy; we complicate it with our earnest desires. People living here are full of life, taking their breath every day in this nature, doing their chores, and are so loving. They are not longing for big houses or cars; they are happy with their simple life. One thing I noticed in Kerala is that there were not many big buildings, just simple homes to have a roof over their heads, nothing fancy. They are not destroying forests to fulfill their desires; they are living in actual heaven.

In Kerala, you'll find everything nature has to offer – from gentle sea breezes to breathtaking waterfalls and majestic mountains. It's a place where you can relax on sandy shores, listen to the waves, and watch stunning sunsets. If you prefer adventure, there are mountains to climb and waterfalls to explore. Kerala has something for everyone, making it the perfect destination to experience the beauty of nature.
