If someone tells you that it is not worth to visit Jana Waterfall, then it might not be very true. If you wish to visit Jana Waterfall on a week day it might just be the best experience. More than just the taste of the lunch, the route to Waterfall is the real deal. Hikers can actually take up the challenge to walk up to the fall and have a great local lunch. We were accompanied by our host 'Sheru Baba' to this place. He was nice enough to offer us a beautiful lunch and stop by the route to experience the beauty of the place.

This castle not just gives you an opportunity to experience the past but it gives you a view of a lifetime. Naggar Castle has seen 600 years of existence and has survived the 1905 earthquake. We wanted to hike to the castle as we were living by the Beas River and far from the Castle. Besides, we love taking long walks together and try different local food on our way. To get the perfect view from the castle, it is suggested to visit before the sunset and experience the same from the top.

We both love our history and our country being such a huge one has a vast history. So we decided to visit International Roerich Memorial Trust & Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery to know about our country. The Russian artists Nicholas Roerich made his way to Naggar and lived there during his end days. The art widely covers his landscape experiences through Tibet and the Himalayas. This beautiful space was converted into a place to visit in memory of the family and holds a great importance when in Naggar.

One can also choose to eat the local delicacy 'Siddu' and a hot cup of tea once you are done visiting the place. We enjoyed our 20 minutes rest by the memorial once we reached the edge of the mountain.

Naggar has many beautiful and magnificent Homestays to make you feel like home. Our pick is definitely the Himalayan Seree Homestay by the edge of the mountain. The space gives you a 360 degree view of the mountain and also lets you experience the Beas River. This huge view is all under one frame and to top that of, the brilliant host of the place. 'Sheru Baba' he is a person who can make your day and a cup of tea with him can ease your issues. He has been practicing yoga and meditation for ages.

From building an authentic space to creating the soulful vibe, a stay here refreshed our souls. We are not into meditation but they also offer a separate space for you to do yoga and meditation without getting bothered. Me and my partner had a peaceful experience living here. This is surely our top 5 things to do in Naggar, Kullu.

Lastly, we would suggest you to take the backyard trails instead of the concrete roads to experience the local life.
