This Hundur Monastery is a mountaintop temple that is located near the Diskit and Lachung monasteries in the Nubra Valley.
Hundur Gompa, commonly known as the Buddhist fortress of Hundur, has many years of Buddhist knowledge and tradition. Visitors may, however, only get as far as Hundur on this stretch of the trail.
Tourists are permitted to travel no further than the town of Hundur, where the monastery is located.
