2021 started with the Corona virus scare still fresh as 2020 and at the same time that travel bug also itching for you to make the move, this short ride close to Mumbai just helps you relive from all the stillness that has entered our lives since start of 2020.
Wandering off to some unknown place gives you sense freedom and lightens your soul. This is the part of me which takes me to such beautiful places which are lost in time & yet when you visit these places your heart just smiles all the way
On a Saturday morning, decided to do an early morning solo ride on my Honda CBR 250R. After a certain distance travelled on the old Mumbai Goa Highway, took a diversion near the Kharpada bridge to reach to this spot right in wilderness
The location sits on a hilltop and is an easy miss for people traveling through the route. Its a very quite place and google map takes you to the right spot. The places is very quite and serene, in rainy season it just blooms. The final approach road to the spot might be tricky for few, but cars and bikes can reach the place quite easily.
There is nothing near the site, so its better to get our own food or stock up with some munchies if you plan to spend some time here. Water is also not available at the place so in case you visiting the spot, carry a lot of water. The temple is kept clean and maintained by the base villagers.
Kids will love the place as it has plenty to play around, sit & relax, read books...
You get a glimpse of the famous Karnala fort as well. Phone network is available so nothing to worry about that :)
