About Tarkarli :
Tarkarli is a village in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. On the shores of the Arabian Sea, it’s known for the white sands and clear waters of Tarkarli Beach, a popular spot for water sports. Sindhudurg Fort, on an island just off the coast, was built in the 17th century by the Maratha rulers. To the south, the peaceful backwaters of the Karli River are lined with palm trees and inhabited by dolphins.
Tarkarli is very fast growing tourist hub and is becoming the next preferred location after goa from the past few years.
Tarkarli is 387 km from Pune.
So we started our bike at 5:00 am from Pune .It took me around 11 hours to reach Tarkarli which includes stop for breakfast and lunch.
Route : Pune ->Satara -> Karad -> Kohlapur -> Sawantwadi -> Malvan -> Tarkarli .
The road condition is very good till Kohlapur as its a highway and after that in near Amboli there is ghat road but the road condition is good and scenic.

Activities to do : Tarkarli Scuba Diving , Devbagh Scuba Diving, Parasailing and many other water sports.
There are many vendors,they provide package of water sports activities which is not very high in cost.
