So it was just another random rainy day. Roads were drooled with water, people with raincoats and umbrella all around and not sunny but not so dark kind of weather it was that day. Suddenly my friends called up and said that lets go on a easy one day trek, are you in. I went along. So we all geared up ourselves with rainy wear shoes, sunglasses, and some trek essentials. This place is in the hilly areas of lonavala nearly 61km from pune. So basically there are 2 ways to go on top of the visapur fort. One is the stairs and the other way is proper trekking through the rocks where you can see water flowing. We being the adventurous group of monkeys, went for the rock climbing. But that was not the tricky part of the trek. The way to reach the rocks was the main hurdle that we had to cross. It was almost 2 hours walk from the point where we had parked our vehicles. Then there was a wet muddy area in which walking was in all the way similar to quagmire. Crossing that took us almost an hour. And then finally we reached the bottom of our real trek. Climbed for another one hour and finally after so many khatron ke khiladi stunts, we reached the top of Visapur fort and Oh My God!
It was a view of the lifetime. Surrounded by that lush greenary, feeling those heavy winds, and having a look at that amazing and infinity view from the top, made our day for sure.
