I like the posture of this dog. Such a cutie he was 🥰🥰 Visiting Sethan was one of the best decision ever. I have been to Manali couple of times but was not aware of this place. So one day I got a mail from our friend @footloosedev and he invited us to stay at his place and explore

Me and couple of my friends went there. We were quite amazed while reaching to the destination (we had to cross 40 hairpin bend). It was some beauty there.

The first interaction was with this dog name 'Ceaser'. Moving his tail from left to right and right to left. Approaching us with a smile and sniffing. Awww.. Such a cuteee.. he was.

It was cold & windy, surrounded by mountains, the sun was dipping and can see perfect trails of light. It was beautiful and I was tired but don't mind for a walk in the woods. After 5 minutes of walk. I saw a small village (10-15 local huts) with smoke coming out of their chimney, kids running around and straight tall woods. I saw something like that in the romantic movie songs (Kabhi kabhi mere dil main khayal aata hai...). It was fantastic!!! You guys can bet on me. If you want to propose to your girlfriend, it is the perfect place.

The trail was not ending either our curiosity. It was about to get dark so we had to push back. Once reaching the homestay, that best thing happened (I love the most), Chai and lot of talks starting from about the village people, their belief, Himachal, India and world issue (it was actually a progressive discussion about anything and everything). Hahahaha...After dinner, we planned the next day to trek.

The host there was super amazing and so interactive. Always high on courtesy and give so much respect to the travellers. It is like we all become a family in couple of hours.

I think it was late and we were dead tired. yawning now and then. :) Something big we planned. I will let you know in my next final story of Sethan, Himachal Pradesh

I am not an early bird kinda person when I am travelling I guess there is a sub-consciousness issue that I wake up really early and others face the consequences hahaha..how? I open the window (default) and need a fresh cup of tea and biscuits. :) Same happened in Sethan. I woke up and the caretaker gave me a hot cup of chai (Tea). What much more you want in life? Beautiful Dhauladhar range covered with snow, sunrise and amazing tea. It was like my soul left my body for a while. Hahahaha...(it really don't want to come back). My words or this picture can't give justice to the place and the moment I had there.

After a couple of hours, we geared up for the trek, started working towards the woods crossing Pandu Ropa. Every step I was talking was giving me all beautiful feeling. My feeling for that place was growing and I wanted to know that place more... Someone said it right- "You never know what is ahead of you unless and until you are not taking a step ahead". It was literally 60 degrees inclined trek. Hahaha....I was never prepared for something like that. After 5 min of the trek. My soul left me and I was trying to grab my breath. LOL. I was supposed to reach the top which exactly 7-8kms from my vision. After 1 hour we took and at the green meadowland and relaxed for a while. (FYI - People should workout while they are in their quarantine period). The place was damn beautiful. One side you can see Dhauladhar range and other side Pir Panjal ranges. WOW!!!!!! Moving ahead, it took around 3-4 hours for us to reach the top (it was a never-ending mountain.

We reached a point where we took pictures and tried to fly a drone. The funny part, all the video came out blurred. Reason - We forgot to remove the lens cap. Hahahaha..it was hilarious. We are human and make mistake. It is okay.

In the end, the trip to Sethan was fantastic, amazing people, good food and nice view.

P.S - Respect the place you travel & its culture always.
